Wycombe number 28 18:50 - Jan 2 with 1752 views | IPSWICHFANITFC | A lot of talk about the striker, Samuel, who was very impressive, but I liked the look of number 28 in midfield. Seemed like he was playing on his own in there at times and had an good eye on moving into space with the ball.

On the Wycombe forum it is pretty unanimous that he was MOTM

Interesting. Clearly noticed by the home fans but not by most of us.

The player ratings on TWTD don’t mean much

Wycombe number 28 on 20:16 - Jan 2 with 1465 views | Sarge | Think he’s being somewhat overhyped on here. He put himself about and was a nuisance but he plays in a team that can do nothing but hoof it upfront so of course he’s going to be more involved than a lot of their players. His goal record is really quite poor, a bit of a Frank Nouble player imo. Edit, sorry I was talking about Samuel [Post edited 2 Jan 2020 20:18]

He was a nuisance but there was little evidence of any technical skill or capacity He worked hard and occupied our defenders but given they rarely had the ball on the floor, it was difficult to judge I liked the look of their centre backs and Jacobson who can clearly whip a ball in Akinfenwa is good at what he does, I imagine he's the kind of striker who Nsiala is more accustomed to dealing with?

Wycombe's position at the top of this league is ample evidence that Tony Pulis-ball might well get a team promoted. Can't say I would want to watch it, though. Also not easy to combat unless you have very talented players which is the key - most sides in this league don't.

Both in dire need of a pair of scissors and/or a comb taking to their hair
