On a personal note, think those that could afford to lose the money, we should not expect any money back as long as the money would be given to the manager to buy players.
As I see it, this is money which has gone out of our accounts and we will not miss this, but a clause should be given to ME stating the money is not to for funding the club, but as a bonus to buy players. |  | | |  |

I know what you mean, but the players will still need paying once purchased. Disentangling and auditing the spend would be near on impossible.
And why would a pay rise for player x (to secure him at the club) be a less worthy use of money than the purchase of player y? |  | | |

Not sure that's workable, or even a good idea.
We should be in a reasonable position once this is over. Smaller league one clubs will cut costs dramatically and look to create some sort of emergency fund (I would imagine) for future shocks. Championship clubs are mostly paying big money and will have no income which could see a dramatic short term change in that division. Maybe the time has finally come for ME's strategy*. If Evans thinks the ST money would be better spent paying wages and bills in the short term maybe we should let him get on with it.

I do not expect a refund on my ST and if we are given options I will say for the club to keep it, for whatever use they want to make of it-or have made of it.
I would probably accept refund on the Bristol Rovers and Shrewsbury away games that I have paid for though as that is not ITFC money anyway. |  | | |

Have to agree with PJH, it is money we have not lost in the long term.....just putting the money back in the club. Think of the longer term picture and perhaps the support would make ME appreciate the fan base. | | | |
