and will be gone before too long. but i'd happily see KVY as our captain going into next season. Speaks fantastically and on the pitch from what I've seen of him he leads by example.
….he's phoned up an old boy, which is nice, but I'm sure he's not the only one.
And he looked good in playing less than 10 games for literally the worst Ipswich team ever.
Chill.
Really like what I've seen from him so far, on and off the pitch, but you're right. The fact that KVY was basically the highlight of our season and played fewer than 10 games really shows the depths we've fallen.
P.S. Also drops points for not knowing what an Eton Mess is.
P.P.S. Lambert out.

We’ve become a tin pot div 3 team unfortunately.
Yes, we are a bit tin point and in League One but KVY is a League One player.
I think he has potential and could cut it in the Championship possibly, but to say he's too good for us based on the limited performances he's made for the club is a huge lol.

Like others, I've been really impressed with the darting, surging runs and the crafted final ball. But I've also taken someone who hadn't previously seen him to a game in which he hardly showed up. I had to point out a couple of good things, but also had to agree that they were minor.
It's great to have him, but there is such a long way he has to travel before Championship clubs would risk more than, say, a million.

That legend who has been one of the catalysts of our failure? That one who is hero because he once sworn in front of Sky cameras?
You mean PR Luke don't you?
Give it a break. Chambers is one of our best ever captains and he absolutely loves the club. He was also part of our play off team - in a position he is not comfortable with.

its my opinion. he was head and shoulders above 95% of the others when playing.
Yes, took Shrewsbury, Gillingham and Tranmere to the cleaners. Played very well against Doncaster, Bolton and MK Dons. When we had that run of wins he was the standout player. There's no doubt that if he played the full season there would be lots of interest from other clubs.

I’d suggest his injury had a massive impact upon Town’s season , that together with Norwood injury really did hamstring us. Get these two fit for new season and I think ( barring another Lambert cock up ) mean we will be a different proposition next season. Just need two decent centre backs.

Precisely, KVY is a very good player at this level but still unproven at Championship level.
Indeed. In League One, he's certainly been great for us with the ball. And I'm sure a lot of that will be translatable in the Championship even if it'll be tighter.
But he wasn't really put under much defensive pressure during that spell. No reason why he can't also be a very good defender but that's still unanswered and much more important in the Championship.

He also played against Rotherham, I think it was, and got taken apart and offered nothing. Civelli was outstanding for the six games we had him for.
