If Bournemouth do indeed go down 07:51 - Jul 2 with 775 viewsSimonds92

Are they going to get hit with any FFP punishments? (Embargos / points etc.) As far as I can see they settled to pay a £4.75mil fine but I'm sure i saw it mentioned somewhere they may get hit with further punishment when back in FL. In the grand scheme of things, when you've got a Premier League income, that £4.75m is nothing, and justifies their overspending.

You are right - the £4.75m was paid & it appears to have been agreed as full & final settlement. Leicester City also agreed to pay £3.1m for a similar breach.

Chicken feed compared to the £100m in annual TV revenue. The message is that breaching FFP is fine & clearly this has encouraged the wild over-spending in the Championship.

Them and Villa will have some real problems, I think.
