This is to counter the Attorney General's recommendation for a reviewed [longer] sentence isn't it.

As you say, hopefully they'll bung another decade on each sentence. Scummy trash.

I struggle with this switch from murder to manslaughter, as though there's nothing in the middle. You'd have thought anyway this was pretty clear cut as it is.
