Not to over-egg an assist in an U21 international but that sort of play (though fairly simple) is exactly what we were missing all of last season and it's players like him, Bishop, Lankester et. al. that are capable/confident enough to do it. Would be an enormous waste if those guys don't get a fair crack of the whip, providing they can stay fit.

Problem is playing those guys risks blocking Alan Judge's progress.

Made it look simple, but how many times did Nolan or Judge get into positions like that last season and attack the space in front of them?
Thought it was a pretty impressive pass to be honest. Running at a decent pace with the ball and plays a threaded no-look pass to the striker trying to lurk just onside.
But yeah we barely do anything as cleanly and effectively as that.
