Can't argue too much with those changes. There's a case for Woolfy coming in but that'd be too much change in one go imo. That front three has a better balance to it for sure. Midfield is lightweight but good on the ball.
Not saying that’s our strongest team as there’s a whole second XI that could work their way into the team by the end of the season and you’d fully expect Downes, KVY and Jackson to do that. But there’s little argument that it’s the strongest team so far.
I can only guess that there’s a doubt with Ward because of the overly defensive bench. But as Ward has been one of the most influential and steady players that might be a risk worth taking to get us straight back to winning ways.
