Maybe Wilson involved too as a more senior player, plus no doubt a couple of them wrong due to injury so will be a couple of others.
With all due respect to those that play it really does seem to me to be ridiculous to treat this and other games in this competition as a 'first team' game.
Tonight will probably be Crawley Reserves versus ITFC 3rd team yet it gets treated as a first team appearance.
I imagine even the players hope to play in a proper first team game one day.

With all due respect to those that play it really does seem to me to be ridiculous to treat this and other games in this competition as a 'first team' game.
Tonight will probably be Crawley Reserves versus ITFC 3rd team yet it gets treated as a first team appearance.
I imagine even the players hope to play in a proper first team game one day.
Of course, for some this is as good as it will get though - and they'll always be able to say they've played for Ipswich Town though!

Yes I understand that and from the point of view of a player who's 'only' appearances in an official ITFC first team game are in this competition they can genuinely say that they made a first team appearance or two but it still devalues actual first team appearances as far as I am concerned.

Yep, especially when the youngest ever players list will likely have a couple added to it tonight, alongside Chirewa and it will be for 2 minutes at the end of one of these games.
Jack is the year below Chirewa and still an U16 - that side has been one there have been high hopes for forever - I think 9 of them so far have signed scholarships, 7 of whome have been at the club since U8 level
