injuries are our problem. 12:00 - Nov 26 with 627 viewsPaddy39

I have watched our matches on I follow. You cannot blame Paul Lambert only for our current predicament. Just look at the names of the players playing and you will notice more than half of our regular first team players are out injured. There again many of you who get on here and moan only buy the occasional ticket, where’s all the support this club now needs. I’d like to thank Marcus Evans for putting in the money that’s keeping this club afloat at a very difficult time.

Yep, because before the injuries everything in his time here has been an outstanding success.

I think you might be onto something here. Thanks for pointing it out.

However, having defended PL for quite awhile, there comes a point where you have to re-evaluate things. Yes - injuries have been a factor, but the belligerence, the inflexibility, the ease with which teams can set up to nullify us and then pick us off, have all persuaded me that we need a change before the season drifts into oblivion. The time has come. To fail this season would be catastrophic.

In all seriousness though, Evans' money isn't the issue with Evans any more, it is the lack of visibility and living up to his visions and repeated own goals with how he is committed to a plans that have no substance. He has also been very poor with recruitment (I'm referring to his MDs and select managers) Words are cheap, and by rewarding Lambert with a 5 year extension despite him not really performing on the pitch - he's creating more financial liability he has to cover.

Mate, he's gotten us relegated in the limpest form possible, had us finish 11th in the third division and had the team playing terrible, terrible 'will this do' football all season.

It's totally on him.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
