I have noticed that the majority of people who do not wear masks are males in the 18-30 age group, far more than any other demographic save small children. If they are challenged they are asthmatic, anemic or have some other condition that exempts them from mask wearing, strangely not serious enough to stop them threatening to kick someones head in for challenging them though.

The ones that can wear a mask and choose not to are idiots, I agree.
I did find myself in a Co-op about a week ago without a mask. It was such a normal night and I just completely forgot about it. Was about 10pm and it just didn't occur to me which is very odd considering how guarded i've been through the pandemic. I looked back at the till and saw someone queuing up behind me wearing a mask and just thought OH F#!&. Freaked me out. | |

I had an episode like that, had to go collect some stuff for work from a supplier, it was a new job.
They gave me a vehicle to take and I drove the 40 minutes or so there before realising as I pulled up outside I had no mask. I generally have a couple of disposable ones knocking around in the car and invariably have a washable one in my pocket, not this day.
I ended up pulling my jumper up over my nose and going in like that feeling a right dick. |  |

Same observation here. Especially in the Hispanic community. You'll see families out together, mum, dad, gran, kids... Everyone masked up except for dad. I don't know if machismo is the root of it, but it's definitely something I've seen. |  |
