It was a big enough ask for Ipswich fans to accept Lambert when he was announced. I think announcing Allardyce would be taking it one step too far!

I’d have been utterly flabbergasted.

He was our old school caretaker. Used to spend far too long cleaning the girl’s toilets.

Mind you, Allardyce worked under Brian Talbot, that practically makes him one of our own.

You don't remember Royle as Massive Citeh manager do you?

Every bit the northern gob... then he came to us...

But then the division we are now in we'd struggle to lure in someone like Sam

Thing is, Royle was *just* a gobs1te. His teams weren't hoofers, thugs and cheats. Neither was Joe a fat crook with an over-inflated idea of his own ability.

Allardyce is a rich man's Steve Evans.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I'd rather poop in my hands and clap than have that crook at the club. Probably the man I dislike most in football.
