It will affect football when the clubs nutritionists can’t get the fresh food the players need for their diets

Just to save Phil / Gav having to move it, you can edit the original post and move it into General yourself by just changing the category.

Why is this on the football thread? It's depressing enough on here, without these endless gripes filling up most of the general section as well as the footie section. What with the same half dozen jumping on every political thread going.

Why is it you have decided to wake up today and have a rant that’s been going on for four years on the general forum?
I can only assume that it is because the borders are shut which by the way has sod all to do with BREXIT. If so have a go at the Welsh and Scottish FM’s as well for trying to shut themselves off.
Still have a nice day now😀

It's funny these people who appear to live under a rock and then get vocal at the 11th hour. It was like people losing their sh1t when Trump was inaugurated, like they had completely missed the election 3 months prior.

Brexit is a disaster, it's not only a foolish decision but it's been dealt with terribly from start to finish. How we're 10 days away from leaving and still don't know the terms I'll never understand. It sums up Boris Johnson and his utter incompetence. Ideally we'll strike a deal, but if we don't, that should've been communicated months ahead of deadline in order to allow people and business to prepare.

Doesn’t it just. It has also assembled some from the very bottom of the brexit barrel as well though.

How do people pass through over a decade in education and emerge so fcking thick?

Friend of mine who headed up his local Remain campaign in 2016 was quite annoyed at the number of people and organisations who suddenly came out speaking of maximum resistence to Brexit after the Referendum, but had been uncooperative, lukewarm or entirely absent beforehand.

I think this is because no-one thought we as a country would vote for anything other than remain i.e. collectively complacent, but once gritty realism had set in...

As others have asked: Why this rant now?

Is it because the borders have slammed shut?
If so that's not Brexit, it's everybody's 2020 nemesis covid. Many European countries have closed borders between themselves during the year, a lot harder when you can walk from Spain to Romania, a lot easier when it's an island.

Look at this way, once Brexit IS reversed As well as the benefits we all enjoyed before we won't have to change our money to go on holiday as we adopt the Euro... Imagine the impact of that on mouth frothing raving brexiteers.
