The rest of the country will have to learn to deal with the infectious hordes, I'm afraid.

Actually Tilbury falls under our remit, and there's currently no ban on shipping. You just enjoy taking back control out there.

Tilbury is privatised, and run from Scotland. I'd start getting worried if I were you.

Tilbury is run by a Canadian investment company, from a London office. I know this because one of my neighbours works for them (PSP not Tilbury Port) so actually we maybe able to take over several Scottish ports too. Good thinking.

That's merely the investment company (Public Sector Pensions Investment Board) that owns Forth Ports, which is based in Scotland and exercises operational control of their eight ports.

I realise it's easier to do with fewer roads, but on 12:49 - Dec 21 with 638 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Probably aren't that many main roads into Suffolk and could block off any minor shortcuts without too much inconvenience. I think the issue is more with political will and how people would react to the lack of freedoms. Additionally, there are those that will be allowed to travel due to essential deliveries and services, support bubbles, etc. I think we could probably use automatic number plate recognition to identify vehicles making dubious journeys and issue fines but unless they are large and well publicised in advance, they will not prevent it. Ultimately I think we are resigned to its spread. Our only hope is sufficient people take the advice that the spread is slower and less widespread than it would be otherwise. China used draconian measures very effectively didn't they?
