5 strikers regardless of when fit etc etc we never give a run as a 2 man uptop team. It makes no sense
Norwood/Jackson. Pace. Work rate. Height.
Hawkins/ jackson
Norwood/Sears
Hawkins/Jackson
Etc etc
Difference combos but would deliver so much more for the midfield to work with

I think Sears and Norwood could work.
However, we know Norwood and Jackson works and yet he continues to refuse to play them together.
The issue is deeper than him insisting on playing a system that is not working. Everything is so one-dimensional and slow. Pass the ball around aimlessly then Dozzell to try a defence-splitting pass from the halfway line. No other attacking ideas.
We need to have some tactics and flexibility that suits the players we are playing. |  |
