Plate Tectonics on 13:00 - Feb 15 with 693 viewsNthsuffolkblue Not sure that climate change has been factored into that! How will the Brexiteers cope once we have joined to the continent? I suppose they will have built a massive wall by then.

I think it would have to be a total paradigm shift for even the worst climate change predictions to have any significant impact on plate tectonics.

I must've been mugged then.
Plate Tectonics on 14:00 - Feb 15 with 619 viewsbluelagos Lost a pub quiz once on not knowing the name of Pangea. Ironic to think we will end up back where we were in 250m years. Wonder if Evans will have stumbled upon a decent manager by then?

Yep, a lockdown.

Depending on the level of sea level rise, the shapes of the coastlines could change very significantly. I wasn't suggesting that is would affect the process of plate tectonics at all. EDIT: It is also interesting that plate tectonics suggests there was once one super-continent and this model suggests that ultimately to one continent it would all return.
