Anyone else getting really fed up (moderated language here) with Brennan Woolley's Doom & Gloom on BBC? While watching on the telly the last four miserable games I've switched him off and felt much better about it. Maybe he should show a bit more enthusiasm for ITFC rather than just criticising us and waxing lyrical about the opposition (not that it's not well founded) especially when you're watching, afterwards maybe?

The poor old bwgger has had precious little to get enthusiatic about since the day he took over commentary duty.

We have been sht for a long time.

He says it as he sees it, which to be fair is fairly accurate to what's in front of him.

We are Ipswich Town midtable in division 3, you can hardly expect his commentary to be ecstatic about how we are playing in most matches.

Nope, love his commentary, love how honest he is.

He either gets grief for being too happy and positive with the managers or too negative with the team.

You’re welcome to your opinion of course, but I think that, objectively, he is very good.

Just wish he wouldn't say things like "It would be a disaster if Ipswich were to concede now", just as things are getting dicey (and shortly before we inevitably concede).

But, in reality, I think he's pretty decent, too.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Yeah I get that.

I suppose it’s a constant battle of trying to keep people interested and entertained, whilst also being factual.

It’s very telling on the rare occasions he doesn’t commentate how good he is.

Not sure if you've noticed, but it is pretty much all doom and gloom.

If you're gonna moan about him, at least get his name right.
