Knudsen reference on World Football podcast this week 16:27 - Jul 2 with 456 viewsMullet

When interviewing the former Danish coach, he mentioned a player who was flown home to see the birth of their child from the squad during the last WC; which was Knudsen.

Turns out it was Simon Kjaer who organised the whip round and Knudsen missing training with the coach. The same bloke credited for saving Eriksen this tournament. Thought that was a nice little connection between the two events.
