Surprise teams? 08:38 - Jul 29 with 1179 viewsBlueySwede

Looking at the division, do you see any possible surprise teams this season?
I think Bolton has done some good business, promoted teams often start well. So my feeling is that it could be them.
(Don´t like them either, so they propbably will do well)

I think Burton and MK Dons could emerge as surprise teams.

I don’t think MK Dons can be called a surprise team - they did well last season and have strengthened. Burton finished the season strong so should be top half this season.

I’d like to see Plymouth do better this season as they do have talent in their team and a half decent boss.

They finished 13th? Hardly doing well!

Think they could be classed as a surprise team if they in the top finish top 6 as all of the ‘big’ teams are always predicted to do well, us, Sunderland, Portsmouth, Sheffield Wednesday and then throw Lincoln, Rotherham and Wigan in there as well, MK a bit down the list.

If Sunderland actually do well will that count as a surprise?

Reckon Morecambe will not get relegated. Small compact ground at home will do them well.

MK Dons are 11th in promotion odds and Burton are 13th. A top 6 or even a top 8 finish would be surprising to most.

Not sure it’s a major surprise as they were relegated from the championship, but I can see Wycombe going well again

I'm not sure that he'll leave. Earlier in the window perhaps, but he's turned down their initial offer.

Not a surprise really , but I think Wycombe may not go quietly back to being a ‘small club’. They got out if this league 15 months ago, and they have not been hopeless since then.

I think Cambridge will be on the top half of the table. They were playing some very attractive footie last year, they would have looked good in L1 last season in my opinion

I think Sheffield Wednesday may surprise some people by not finishing in the top six.
