PMQs - what's your opener? 11:10 - Jan 19 with 667 viewsbluelagos

Johnson,

Your ex employers think you're a lying w@nker, your ex-wives think you're a lying w@nker, most of your own party think you're a lying w@nker, pretty sure Lizzie thinks you're a lying w@nker...is there anyone apart from Carrie who doesn't think you're a lying w@nker?

"Mr Speaker, who do you find more attractive, Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson? I feel so confident of Boris Johnson's guilt that I can waste parliament's time by rating the superhunks."

It's also probably why I'll never work in politics.

Carrie will too, when she finds out he was shagging someone else at one of those illicit parties.

Anyway, someone on here yesterday (apols, can't remember who) said that Starmer's opener should be simply be

"You still here?" in incredulous surprise, and then he sits down.

Easy.

"If the Prime Minister attended the event that he, in his own words, 'understood to be a work event' in the Garden of 10 Downing Street on 20th May 2020, and as the Prime Minister was at this 'work event' by his own admission, for 20-30 minutes, can the Prime Minister tell the house exactly what work was being carried out at that event.

And would the Prime Minister acknowledge that under the regulations in place on that date, anyone attending a 'work event' and not engaging in 'work'; that person would have been acting illegally under the Covid Restrictions act 2020, and therefor that person MUST have lied to this house."

But no-one will ask it.

Something like:

“Are you still here?”

Or something equally w@nky.

I’ll take pleasure in Johnson going but not in Starmer’s hypocrisy as an untrustworthy, deceptive schemer himself.

The whole set-up is deeply depressing.

I'd love Boris to leave with a flourish, singing this at PMQ this afternoon...
