Another day, another lie, this time about Afghanistan 13:10 - Jan 26 with 952 viewsDublinBlue84

Here's Boris denying exactly that in December

Poll: What result on Tuesday is best for the club?

He cost the lives of Afghan colleagues.

We still had people stuck out there when this was going on and there are still some Afghan nationals left there now.

We've known all along but No.10's denials and the lack of any kind of journalism let him off the hook last year.

Now I wonder who gave the bloated one his orders on that one ?

The cake ambusher herself ?

Well it’s not like the Conservatives to prioritise animal welfare…perhaps they were flying back some foxes for a bit of “sport”

He certainly did. As did Raab. Both fecking about when they should have been on the case. The way we handled the withdrawal (abandonment) from our perspective was appalling and the people there have felt the full consequences.

I'm not entirely convinced the tweet in the OP is accurate though. The original accusation was that he prioritised animals *over* people. The email today says he intervened to authorise staff *and* animals to be evacuated. Possibly an important distinction in the battle of the headlines. I'm not sure what other detail there is behind it though.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

What is certain is the garrulous gutbucket intervened - yet claimed that he did not

It is his lying that is the point.

Whether the claims are 'complete nonsense' as this porky PM would have, or whether those words refer to his denial we are now being shown.

“Equivalent charity Nowzad, run by an ex-Royal Marine, has received a lot of publicity and the PM has just authorised their staff and animals to be evacuated,” the official working for Lord Goldsmith writes to another Foreign Office official responsible for collating exceptional cases to be rescued after the Taliban takeover.

So why the lies ? Is it that he cannot help himself, or as others would have he rides roughshod over the rules and imagines he is some ruler with divine right, who is not answerable to us mere mortals.

When it turns out he is answerable, he lies.

As his former house master said "describing Boris as “one of those people who are convinced they’re great at everything, with no evidence to support that, such as for example, actually doing said thing at any point”.

Constant failings that have cost the public purse billions, have not dented his belief in himself. A serial incompetent who even the not too bright can now see through this lardarzed liar.
