The idea of a die-hard Dons fan is an interesting concept. The club has only existed since 2004 and was born very acrimoniously out of moving the league rights from a club based in Wimbledon. I think the majority of inhabitants of Milton Keynes have very little interest in their football club.
My daughter's a teacher in Bletchley. I was bantering with one of her classes the other day via her WhatsApp about the game (she & I are going) and quite a few of the kids are die-hard, probably because for them the real team is a thing from ancient history and Franchise FC is all they've known.
