She'll also be dishonourably discharged once convicted.

Whether there are exchange provisions for US nationals to serve their sentence in the own country is another matter.

The second article appears to express concern that this woman will also get to go to the US to face trial. (I don't think Harry Dunn's killer even faced trial did she?)
