Absolutely. One thing I've missed,is that river fast flowing at this time...or any time ?

Nicola Bulley on 14:54 - Feb 3 with 6777 views | BlueandTruesince82 | Really odd this yes, no no idea would could have happened but so far the police seem suggest no criminality involved, the inference being she chose to disappear. Her phone was still connected to a work call. Hope she's safe, can't imagine what her family are going through

Doesnt make sense. If she went off to the river, why would she leave her phone behind? Sherlock Blueas

You'd have thought dog would have gone in after her if that happened but apparently was bone dry

Nicola Bulley on 15:01 - Feb 3 with 6603 views | clive_baker | Heard someone say something along the lines of 'someone must know something' but it makes you think not necessarily. Especially in a remote area, I mean it took the police a while to find the girl in Brixton last year and that was a very built up area on a main road, dashcams and door bell cameras galore. I'm not sure I buy the hypothesis that she's just fallen in, would it have been fast flowing? They've had dedicated search teams out, modern tech etc. It's a fairly safe bet that she's not in the vicinity so she's either been washed downstream, taken herself off voluntarily (sounds highly unlikely) or it's a case of foul play.

15 km of tidal river, and then the sea, to search. That's a huge job. [Post edited 3 Feb 2023 15:07]

Hmm maybe. I guess and hope that time will tell, for the sake of her family if nothing else.

Dog was off its lead as well wasn't it? Maybe she let if off for a run about, got distracted on her work call then realised the dog was in danger on the river bank? Went to save dog, tripped and fell in the process? All speculation but the police also said there's no evidence of where someone would've fallen in, snapped branches etc.

the inference being she chose to disappear I don't think anyone has even come close to hinting at this at any time

Nicola Bulley on 15:52 - Feb 3 with 6124 views | Chondzoresk | First of all, I hope I am wrong and hope they find her safe and well….however my mind is looking deeper. The Police say she fell in the river. Really? Her Strava account says she did this walk and run along the river 1000s of times. She knows the paths. Her phone was found on a bench. She had been on a Teams call. So, she left her phone on a bench and decided to fall in a small river on a path she did literally every day. I just can’t believe she just “fell in the river” Look, I’m generally very suspicious of stuff like this and feel that there’s more than meets the eye at play here.

I doubt she "decided" to fall into the river.

I get the impression they haven't got a clue so have gone with 'fell in the river' as the least distressing option for her family.

Well if they are saying they do not suspect any criminality and at the time they were not saying that she had fallen into the river (I note they are now) unless you think they were hinting at spontaneous combustion or teleportation I'm not sure what else they could be inferring. If she fell into the river how did her phone not fall with her? I don't know the story behind the work call but I thought I read it was still connected to the call. None of her colleagues heard a splash? A noise one makes when one suddenly trips? On the flipside I'd ask if one was going to disappear you either take the dog or leave it at home, assuming one is thinking straight anyway

Surely the first thing we all do on such calls is mute our mic if we aren't speaking? Guessing it wasn't a video call. Just think speculating about her deliberately going missing when she has two young kids is a bit off.

I think the implication, is she sits down on the bench for the work call. Lets the dog off the lead to run around whilst she is on call (think i read dog lead was on bench too?) Something then obviously happens, dog + river ? (Although dog apparently dry) to make her get off bench and forget phone. Implies it was something sudden + serious otherwise she'd pick phone up. Dog went near water/nearly fell in? She goes to get it and falls in? But then no signs of her falling in, and if dog wasnt wet it didn't jump in after. As others have said, hopefully answers can be found so family have closure.

The police will be looking at people who have been viewing her Strava account, especially if it's publicly visible
