Agreed on Hirst - we got more players up around him second half so he was more involved. You wouldn't have known Freddie had come on if not for the 4th official's board; he couldn't quite carry on Hirst's involvement. |  |

Hirst did his job impeccably. Great hold-up play, technically excellent and brought others into play when he could. The team weren't at it first half but he looked a really good and intelligent footballer to me. | | | |

Apart from the fact that he held everything up, drew fouls through strength, was a complete handful and laid on a lovely little assist for Chappers in that first half I thought he was poor too. |  | | |
