Am I in the minority of people that never goes on them? Seen quite a few posts of other teams' fans having meltdowns etc but I only ever go on TWTD myself.

Having said that, I do miss Harry from Bath's pre-match posts when he's been trawling through them in advance of matches to assess the thoughts of the opposition.

Occasionally have a read but only when things are going well for us.

I find people signing up and posting like some sort of peace envoy quite odd but each to their own.

Truly impaired.

I read them from time-to-time as I enjoy reading how other fans view us during the buildup to matches as well as the aftermath. Some fans, like town fans, talk rubbish but there’s a lot of fans who are fair etc.

I never contribute to Facebook style forums - simply because the ‘bantz’ just tends to be abuse.

I quite like the pre-match and post-match threads against our opposition to see what their fans think before and after the game.

Nah his write ups were good, hope he’s well and still enjoying following the Town

I check them out. I checked out Port Vale yesterday. Was interesting to see how the fans view the game. There was no expectation of getting a point, but a hope expressed along the lines of we have 20 shots and they win 1-0 from their only shot of the game. Happens in football.

A funny on was one of their fans demonstrating every club is beatable from recent games. But they could only provide the Cheltenham draw as evidence for us.

They were optimistic they could hang on to League One football and sort themselves out over the summer. But some fear around Cambridge

As for our promotion rivals. It can be interesting. Plymouth have a fair few pessimistic fans, a chip on their shoulder about being overlooked, and a fear of bottling it, as their defeats are when they don't turn up and they get hammered.

Sheff Wed is tragic. Funny seeing them go from Sheff Wed are going to end up outside of the play offs (even though mathematically impossible) to Sheff Wed are going to win the league, DM has us purring again. And now crying again.

Barnsley are the most reasoned. They seem to be enjoying their season. The GL incident was weird, even though we didn't do anything wrong. But you can see how they'd be miffed by it. A small narrative has built up around that.

I think that they see Sheff Wed arrogance and then think we are the same when they pop on here. But mainly it is excitement that they confuse for arrogance.

Overall, reading the different forums gives me a sense that I'd like us to win (obviously) and Barnsley to finish second. Sheff Wed to fail in the play offs. Plymouth to win the play offs. I think it would be Bolton or Peterborough though, if Barnsley go up second.

Not one for going on them off my own back, only have a look when there’s a thread linked on here and I’ll go and read it as they’re usually funny.

I do miss HFB previews, was always good to read what the opposition fans were saying about us, would’ve been brilliant for most games this season!

Il be honest I spend abit too much time looking at other teams forums in general, not specifically pasoti or owlstalk etc but most teams in league one and championship. I just find it quite interesting the different outlooks on similar themes. One I have quite enjoyed as a level headed football enthusiast site is one of the port vale sites . Overall seem a good bunch who are quite knowledgeable.. especially the guy who thinks we might get 9 tomorrow night

Also loft for words is a really good site and the guy who does the post match reports is a really good funny writer, feel abit bad for him at the moment but hopefully they’ll stuff Norwich

I've been predicting a 9-0 win for Town all season. Haven't got it right yet, but tomorrow's the night. I feel it in my water.

Followed a few links to other clubs forums when they've been posted on here. And I have recently browsed Owls Talk a few times. Just because I was genuinely interested to read the mood, considering their recent turn in form. Which I find incredible.
I've never opened an account on another teams forum.
Must admit though, it's always quite interesting to have the odd nosey, here and there. Tbh , though, found all forums to be much of a muchness. Each teams fans, living in their own bubble, all with similar gripes regarding Managers, players and rival fan bases...

It's all got a bit much, people gloat when they win, meltdown when then lose. A sad sign of the times generally.
