Big one for me, my first ever away win in 23 years and 33 games. Went on to win the next 3!

It felt and bit anticlimactic as despite a big turnout I thought we were pretty subdued and had lost a little belief at that point.

Tellingly, it was the first away win since Exeter in mid-November. Other than the five chances MK spurned in one move we were in control but without being fluent and it took a bit of leadership from Morsy to score the goal.

I think the reaction of the players at the end demonstrated that they had lost a bit of belief away from home so, although a pretty unmemorable match in it's own right, this was a game that provided the platform for the away wins which followed.

Female ref getting heaps of mysogynistic abuse from the Neanderthal sat just behind me

Totally and utterly uncalled for; in fact she was one of the best officials we had last season.

Bar in the stadium was still selling that dreadful Craft Ale, y'know, the stuff that tastes like Toilet Cleaner.

Huge stadium with virtually no home fans.... I wonder how empty it will be this coming season for them in L2

Made hard work of it is mine. First flashes of what Hirst could do for me at least, although predictably because he didn't score a hat trick there seemed to be a few people doing the usual moaning about how rubbish he was afterwards. 'We're the right side etc...' was a bit of fun

Luongo came in at half-time and we never looked back for the rest of the season!

Awful away day.

Huge queues, 0 atmosphere, nightmare traffic, awful game.

Thank god we don't have to go back there again

"Tellingly, it was the first away win since Exeter in mid-November".

What a mental stat, given the opposition in that spell included teams like Oxford, Bristol Rovers and Cambridge. You then look at who we went on to beat after this, incredible really.

Obviously we played a lot better during the run in than we did in January and February, a contrast especially marked away from home, but clearly we found it easier to play against sides who allowed us more time to play (see also Burnley in that regard).than against sides with small pitches who try to stop us playing.

Experienced a similarly a-hole fan in front of us.

He & son (assumption) were in the wrong seats, when rightful ticket holder for one seat turned up, he refused to move, showing his ticket to other party in front of us (older looking chap) I, believe, that I clearly saw e-books ticket was for same seat in row EE, not CC.

However

As everyone stood for whole match really didn't matter too much.

Also have to admit to 2 minor melt downs on way to the game.
1. Failed to plug in the correct post code for parking - prepaid parking ticket had stadium post code, didn't see 2nd attachment with car park location
2. Took a wrong turn close to ground onto a dual carriageway - that one really set me off

Think I scared my passenger as I don't think he's seen me lose my cool before; apologies Pimball.

I like that stadium and am jealous they've got a bigger capacity than us. Even if it does have some quirky not quite complete vibes.
