I don’t reckon it would take anymore than £1.5m, he’s 32 in a few months, will be his last chance to earn a decent wedge before retiring.
Would be extremely sad to see him leave, he’s been the leader this club has needed in recent history. | | | |

We'd weigh up what the worth of getting a season out of him and letting him go for nothing is worth to us.
Don't think we'd be interested at 1.5 myself. But you never know, it never works out holding onto a player who might want to go and financially secure his family. | | | |

My thoughts exactly..I was just assuming he'd run down his contract here first though, and cash in on a chunky signing on fee as a free agent..
I wouldn't blame him, at all, tbf... For what he's been earning in the lower leagues over his career. He could probably earn the equivalent of a decades worth of wages in 2 or 3 seasons out there.

Exactly this. If he’s got a life changing contract on the table going in to the final 12 months of his deal, I can’t imagine Town will be asking loads for him. Suspect a deal would get done around £2m if Morsy did indeed want to go. | |

No one at the club sticks out and it would take some player to replace him too!! Has held this club together. Could be a major decision by the club.
