I remember going to an away game on the coaches when I was about 12, sat down with my dad and this old boy gave me a right earful because I was sat in ‘pats seat’
After a bit of back and forth ‘Pat’ got on the coach and told the old boy not to worry as I wasn’t to know, and said ‘all that matters is we get the win today’

I had the pleasure of meeting her in the summer. I told her I was from Lowestoft.
"You must know Laurie Sivell & Terry Butcher then!" She said.
Although I have met both, I can't really make that claim.

Met her just very briefly at a funeral earlier this year for someone who'd worked at the club for many years.

At the 78' Cup re-union back in 08; she sat on the stage between Burley and Mariner, holding hands with both of them. Bobby was there too. What a night, and what a Club we have again. I hope McKenna has had a chat with her. |  | | |
