With an impending Goalkeeper coming, new Rb in Johnson and Greaves our back 5 will look very very different. The best defences in the league are protected by DCM players so expectations for a Flynn Downes type for me still to come in. But your point is valid because goals give you a chance and I don’t think we will be sitting back for 90 minutes with a back 8. |  |

It was apparent from watching highlights last season that he was less than happy with some of our defending and I am sure he knows we have to improve in that area. The dribbly nature of the attackers we're signing could suggest more focus on counter-attacking. Knowing mckenna, changes will be subtle - evolution over revolution.

I think the signings show that we are aware that being able to press teams will go a long way to staying up.
Hutch. Philogene. Delap. All have fantastic pressing abilities. Johnson.. agile. Greaves. Great stamina. Balanced and ball player.
Mix that with Burns. Chappers etc we have a good mix.
CM is vitally important now. We can't go into the season with at least 1 new cm. It's an important one. Needs to be that box to box creator whilst also having the ability to get stuck in. |  |

Hutch. Philogene. Delap. All have fantastic pressing abilities. Johnson.. agile. Greaves. Great stamina. Balanced and ball player.
Mix that with Burns. Chappers etc we have a good mix.
CM is vitally important now. We can't go into the season with at least 1 new cm. It's an important one. Needs to be that box to box creator whilst also having the ability to get stuck in. |

Yeah hopefully we'll soon be 2-2 for additions to last season's squad. Also our defensive record away from home was one of the best, more 1-0 wins than any other scoreline I'd wager. McKenna loves to win, first and foremost. | | | |
