He's very aggressive in his movements which I like. As you say, first goal will probably really get him going.

You have to be a superb player to look good up front on your own in the one up front formation. Always up against at least two defenders.
So compare Hirst and Delap to e.g. Suarez and Drogba, we're not in the market for world class strikers and I hope we are still in for the Greek guy as we need to persuade him to join. I can see Freddie getting games if we don't add to squad in this area.

This really looks like a preseason match as it is. Muric has never played a match with these players and a few players like Delap are working to get on the same wavelength.
I'd still like us to win it, but the main thing is building those relationships.

Nothing to make me think he will start before Hirst as of yet he may turn out to be our best player over time. Still believe we need a striker with a bit of experience. | | | |
