Might be clutching at positives 20:48 - Oct 19 with 455 viewsGarv

But it could just be that Everton are a team we're not suited to playing against, which I think would be fair.

We could and maybe should have beaten Villa who are undoubtedly a much better team than Everton.

No point all of us getting worried because Everton gave a good performance and capitalized on some rank defending. They're a confidence team, if we score the Clarke chance or get the penalty and score it's a very different game.

More clutching but it's also a bummer we had to shoot towards the South Stand second half. More teams should turn us around from KO.

We'll play much better against better teams. Having said that there's definitely some headaches for KM and things to work on.

The danger is the clubs in the relegation battle with us will look at the West Ham & Everton games and will say that's the style we need to play to beat Ipswich. Which means they end up all playing that style.

We have to adapt, change style to combat it.

The thing I'm struggling with is we did change our style for Villa. KM identified Villa are weak in the RB position so when we attacked he allowed Leif to bomb forward and the other 3 defenders shifted slighlty left and Ogbene stayed closer to the defence. That gave Villa loads of problems. But we haven't tried anything different against WH or Everton.
