Travel Sunday 06:26 - Nov 8 with 2375 views | sito | I have train tickets to Liverpool Street and was going to get the tube to Tottenham Hale, now wondering if it would be better to get off at Stratford and get train to Northumberland Park? Having not done this stadium before I am undecided, also may be impacted on the best place for a pint beforehand. Any thoughts?

Don't think you'd have a huge issue drinking near the ground with no club shirt on. Elmhurst Arms in Lordship Lane is an away pub which is another option.

Isn't the Elmhurst closed? (according to Google it is).

Not too sure as I haven't passed that way for a while.

From Liverpool St, the overground to Bruce Grove or White Hart Lane is probably a better option than the tube.

Police have said there are no away-friendly pubs near the stadium (there used to be at least one, but the last time I was in it the stadium was only 36000 capacity), so drink near Liv St (or Stratford). Easiest way is train to Liv St, then Overground to White Hart Lane. Contactless works on Overground. Post-match queues at almost all stations are pretty horrible, especially Northumberland Park. Tottenham Hale is the best option for shortest queue, but is a 25-30 min walk from the away end.

....in that it is both one of the best and one of the worst roads in the whole of London. One is lined with luxurious hotels and multi million pound properties and the other with discarded sofas, fridges and used needles.
