Very odd match so far 21:02 - Dec 27 with 746 viewsRIPbobby

I'm not really sure what our game plan is at the moment. We are working very hard for nothing so far. Arsenal are mostly walking around and we are running our socks off. Hopefully the manager has a killer system in mind for the final 45 minutes.

We are certainly still in this. Just we haven't really done anything yet. lol

We have kept them down to 1 rather than be ripped apart

The game plan is probably the Benitez plan at Newcastle when he used to play bigger teams. Recognise you can't win over 90 minutes, so you basically aim to defend for 80 of them without conceding and then you have a go for 10 minutes(at some point) and hope you don't concede/score in each section, respectively.

Arsenal are literally so many gears down though, and we'll have shattered ourselves in that half.

We showed a bit more intent in the second half and caused them some concern. On the same token they had much more of an attacking threat, because of this. I suppose at the end of the day 1-0 does not damage our goal difference too much.

That was the strategy and we lacked the confidence going forward to really hurt them

Hutch and Delap both had tough nights and that rather limited us sadly

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!
