Let’s not get cocky. Coventry didn’t go 10 points clear with luck. They’ve been clawed back a bit and didn’t look great against us but had 3 big players out when we played them. Torp, Asante and Sakamoto. That’s 17 goals and 9 assists missing out of the team we played. A big loss for any team.

Let’s not get cocky. Coventry didn’t go 10 points clear with luck. They’ve been clawed back a bit and didn’t look great against us but had 3 big players out when we played them. Torp, Asante and Sakamoto. That’s 17 goals and 9 assists missing out of the team we played. A big loss for any team.

Statistics say that's just not true. Highest xG, xGD, xPts, actual goals, points, lead the league in shots and chances. Probably far more metrics as well.
They are far from unbeatable and while they have probably slightly overperformed and we've underperformed our underlying stats, to say they are "just a decent team" is silly. |  | | |
