Will it be better to play teams who need something? 08:50 - Mar 17 with 376 viewsAxeldalai_lama

I know the old rule about playing teams who have nothing to play for, but might it work for us if teams are battling for points and don't just park the bus?
Just a thought.

Depends whether they're battling for three points or just the one.

Also, teams have seen enough examples of what happens if you try to play proper football against Ipswich, as against what fierce pressing, tight marking, compact defence and a quick, opportunistic break can achieve. We might get some joy facing sides with a lot of confidence in their abilities, but anything asymmetric is likely to be tough and chewy.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Teams who are lower mid table with nothing to play for are always the best imo.

QPR on the last day could be ideal
