That Toronto stadium looks fabulous btw. The view with the city and then the hills behind is pretty special. I’m not sure how the open nature of it would translate to a wet and windy Tuesday night in Stoke, but Toronto must have their own share of bad weather. It’s refreshing to see something different to an identikit bowl. | |

I’ve seen a couple of Toronto FC games there and it’s a great stadium. And despite being quite open the acoustics work really well. Being so close to the lake, it’s freezing any time other than summer.
That said, its been a beautiful day here today and there were loads of Germans downtown. Good atmosphere. Pleased the city got at least one decent game to host (the rest are pretty uninspiring).
Hopefully we get to host England in the round of 32. Editing to add, hopefully not, as that would mean England runners up in their group. [Post edited 20 Jun 23:31]
