Absolutely no pressure on us at all, result regardless, we've got the league to focus on with Fulham being the priority for me. That being said, it'll still be a strongish line up tomorrow I'd imagine & taking a result off a Premier League side can only improve confidence within the squad.
Palace haven't started too well it seems. Not scored a goal this season. Best player is out injured & their new style is taking time to bed in. Would it be a shock if we won this game?
Anyway, line up wise, think 4-4-2 again. Gerken; Iorfa Spence Knudsen Nydam; Rowe Downes Huws Celina; Sears Waghorn/Garner would be my guess.
Could even be a change of shape to bring in another youngster into midfield/back 5 and get Celina up top. Think putting Woolfenden in against potentially Benteke would be a nightmare for the lads confidence. Think Knudsen would relish the thought of going up against Benteke anyway.
It'll be good to welcome Emyr Huws back into the fold again too. |  |
