Didzy too selfish 13:10 - Oct 15 with 2768 views | Popeye | Looking at the twitter feeds from the match yesterday suggests didzs is a bit of ball hog who doesn’t get his head up and pass but instead tries to take on three defenders and then loose the ball rather than play a simpler pass to a team mate!

Didzy too selfish on 15:06 - Oct 15 with 2602 views | Luk38644 | Just look at the Sunderland highlights and his pass to Ward for the 5th goal. He's far from selfish and even if he can be at times in a game, I'd rather a player try and grab the game by the scruff of the neck and make things happen than just playing a simple sideways pass.
Didzy too selfish on 15:10 - Oct 15 with 2593 views | LankHenners | Weaknesses identified in McGoldrick are his decision making and finishing - if he was better at those then he wouldn't be here. For most of our play yesterday the only time we looked to cause them any problems was when he was on the ball. There was a couple of occasions where he could have played an early cross but chose to try and chop the ball onto his right foot and the defenders read it but again, doesn't show he's a ball hog, more that he needs to get better at knowing when to release the ball and when to hold onto it.

Oooooooo Harry you’re so strong, masculine and outspoken. Just because you think you’re Michael Caine’s film character, you don’t need to be so abrasive with everybody. Do you go to every match then sunshine?
Didzy too selfish on 17:07 - Oct 15 with 2485 views | Arthur_Hayes | I watched the game yesterday, via ifollow, and I tend to agree with you, in parts. The frustrating thing with McGoldrick is that he’s clearly the best footballer at the club, in terms of vision, tricks, entertainment, and he clearly has something different compared to the pedestrian players around him. However, the question has to be asked, does this make us stronger as a team? Sometimes other players aren’t on his wavelength, at other times he tries to overdo it and ends up losing possession. Yes, against Sunderland he was sublime, whilst against Fulham, Bristol City and Sheffield Utd he was not as effective. I think (injuries permitting) our best strike force is Waghorn and Garner - two out and out strikers, with McGoldrick sitting just behind them, but that then puts immense pressure on our already lackluster midfield, especially if Adeyemi is absent. Finally, for a forward, his strike rate of a goal every 3.5 games isn’t particularly good. In his defence he’s provided many assists, and has been in and out of the side through injury, but if we’re ever to get out of this frickin division we need more goals from him. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Didzy too selfish on 17:30 - Oct 15 with 2451 views | Mullet | That's pretty much nonsense and highlights the dangers of social media commentary. He made the first chance of the game, and has all season been far more effective with options around him, just like Skuse. We definitely improved without him on the pitch, but that was much about the balance of the game and fresh legs being able to simply run hard and direct at defenders. Dids certainly shanked one wide which was uncharacteristic but we had precious little link up play all too often. Relying on the first pairing of him and Waghorn in a game like that was more the problem.
