This season is far more frustrating than last season - discuss 13:55 - Jan 3 with 479 viewsGlasgowBlue

Last season we were sh1te. The style of football was sh1te and we had no expectations other than the odd look at the teams who were below us in case we were dragged down into a relegation scrap. Although that never looked like a real possibility.

This season we added quality, got off to a great start with an injury hit squad, managed to stay there or thereabouts with regards to the play offs by getting a couple of wins on the bounce followed by a defeat or two.

Now those wins are becoming few and far between and the defeats more frequent. Injuries are really hurting but our biggest failing this season has been the inability to defend. Right the way back to the win at Millwall we were like the Keystone Cops at the back.

I can only see the pattern continuing in the second half of the season.

Just a few weeks ago people were asking whether we should stick with Mick if he gets us up through the play offs. Now the general consensus is that we would offload him now.
