Pretty sure the play offs are gone so I'm happy to say the most important thing today was beating that dirty annoying lot.
Their fans actually helped us and the atmosphere so cheers to them for that. Takes some of the attention away from our otherwise soul-less ground nowadays.
On the game, I thought LC was immense today, positioning just seemed to be spot on all game and at times stepping in to cover other defenders gone walkabout.
Connolly also was a standout, as well as Celina of course who just has an obvious class about him and calmed everyone down as soon as he got on the ball. I'm usually confident he will use it well. Mick obviously not so much, it was good to know he was annoying him by trying things and sometimes losing it.
Don't really see this changing much though if I'm honest. We will continue to be inconsistent as we've been for two and a half to three years. |  |
