There's lots of reasons why, the odd outlier aside, league position often correlates with money spent. But no doubt Dyche has done a fine job, they've built steadily and the stability they have helps. Some of our numbskulls would have sacked him after losing to Lincoln mind you. |  |

im pretty sure the "credit in the bank" at being an established prem team would have made losing to Lincoln slightly easier to take.
