Any increases in overseas TV rights to be split based on league position though:

Details are that any increase in overseas rights will be split based on League position and will be capped at top team having 180% of that of bottom team. This ignores that a club such as Liverpool already has 1100% of the commercial revenue of a decent PL team such as #Clarets

Not sure it's a great investment for them. Twenty games over a season is just over two a month on average. I assume the price of Prime will rise. Will it be enough for people to add a third subscription?

I may well be missing something, but isn't tv money dependent on league position now anyway, and has been for a number of years?

I personally like the idea, as a prime account holder for the deliveries alone I think it can be a good investment. I would think that if Amazon are to up their prices they would likely introduce something along the lines of "Prime Plus" which includes the footie, the expanded music service, maybe a monthly movie rental or e-book or some other host of extras that makes the consumer thing... wow- that's a good deal- to be a higher priced tier to the existing prime service, while keeping the current version of prime, and its price, as it is
