Loved that...self-depreciating but players will know who's the boss 12:14 - Jun 12 with 2138 viewsSWGF

Interesting comments about the lack of balance to the squad.

Anyone pick up on the name of the GK coach? Darren someone?

Darren Smith who's already here presumably? Guess he meant talk to him for advice on what to do/who to bring in with regards to that position.

Or interviewing him with a view to being promoted to the senior role.

Think was brought in by Hekingbottom who has subsequently been sacked.

---------------------------
Also following Heckingbottom to Elland Road to is Nathan Winder, who will fill the head of sports science role.

The 34-year-old began his playing career at Halifax Town and then had a stint at Chesterfield before he plied his trade in non-league, most notably at Hucknall Town and Alferton Town.

He arrived at Barnsley in 2009 as the head of athletic development and had worked his way to head of sports science by 2014, the same year he completed a master's degree in sports and exercise science at Sheffield Hallam University.

Barnsley confirmed he would be joining Heckingbottom at Leeds earlier this week.

Ah, I see...

So when he said "I need to speak to Darren, later", he didn't say "I need to speak to Darren Leiter (the highly-respected German GK coach)"?

But also briefly at Ilkeston the year before Hurst. Hurst presumably heard some good things though?
