I have to say i never played the original despite hearing it's very good.

I have a PS4 pro and also a gaming PC (however the PC could do with a slight upgrade in the GPU department - i'm waiting for the next gen Nvidia cards to come out which should mean a drop in the 1070 / 1080's price).

To be fair, the PS4 pro isn't to shabby but a decent PC will always look better.

I've been playing MH for MONTHS. It's an IMMENSE game.


Heard great things about it. But I can’t get past Destiny; I’m a bit addicted so no time for anything else.

RDR2 looks great, but I know I’d get bored after half a day. Open worlders but with repetitive quests and gameplay don’t do it for me, no matter how pretty (and it does look very pretty).

I'll still a little worried about open world games, been burnt so many times in the past (the divison) for one not played monster hunter yet, but hope I can find something soon to test my 1080 rig.
