Qpr, Birmingham and Millwall all winning.

Poll: Will Paul Lambert be Ipswich Town manager on the final day of this season ?

With Millwall winning and Rotherham getting a point, we could win tomorrow night and still be bottom. Or in other words, we are 3 points from safety and likely to still be tomorrow night.

Could be 6pts after Saturday.

Much prefer Birmingham winning to Reading. The Brummies, like QPR, are out of reach now; the teams to watch are Hull, Preston, Reading, Rotherham and a sliding Bolton. Rotherham's home point to Middlesbrough could be vital moving forward.

Very few teams are out of reach this early in the season. Although on our current form all of them are.

QPR and Birmingham are nine points ahead of us after tonight's results; there's no point looking that far up the table.

Makes little difference. We have a poor squad and a manager out of his depth. Relegation favourites well and truely justified.

QPR will be in the relegation mix come May. Birmingham certainly will be too in the unlikely event that they are docked points

Really is irrelevant, the season can be put to a stop now. We are already relegated, have been since we couldn't beat teams like rotherham and 10 men Bolton. Damage has been done during the summer transfer window. Burton Albion with a bigger stadium, sad sad times at the football club.

I remember the indignation on here when we were made favourites for relegation.
Never met a poor bookie.

QPR have zero to do with us.

They are a good outfit and could be top 10.

QPR with Freeman / Wells / Eze and Hamed will be nowhere near the bottom 3.

A club doomed for relagtion, even if Burley etc.came in, we would get relegated. But the restructure should see at least a dozen players out of that door, and the rebuild should certainly include more academy players, something Burley would certainly do.

May be no point at this stage of the season. However, what we can be reasonably sure of is that a team will go down with around 40 points and another will be safe with around 50. We need to do all we can to get to that 50 point mark. Which other teams will fail to get there at this stage matters little.

Neither QPR or Birmingham will be near the relegation zone come May. We need to worry much more about what we are doing instead of others. Problem I have is I can’t see us getting anything tomorrow at Leeds and I believe Millwall will bully us on Saturday and pull further away from us and the bottom three.

Hahahaha.

No. They’re not.

They’re distinctly average.

Still way better than ITFC, though.

Mid-table for QPR come end of season.

QPR are the opposite of flattering to deceive. They look absolute pony, but somehow have found 6 wins from their 14 games.

The state of this thread.

We're crap and in trouble, especially if Evans doesn't change the manager urgently but the idea that this division is set on two months worth of form rather than the whole season suggests a distinct lack of attention over the last few years.

True, but the idea we're hoping to be like Burton, Rotherham, Bolton in the short to medium term is frightening isn't it?

Oh well if we go down we can bounce back up type mentality needs to die a death. Scrap like hell and make sure we don't end up like chuffing Reading I say.
