NO PROBLEM WITH LAST NIGHT AT ALL 14:02 - Nov 24 with 949 viewsTheTrueBlue1878

Town gave everything last night, up against a team with 7 internationals in their starting XI, Dwight Gayle on the bench as well as Premier League winner, when you think we had a signing from Peterborough, a signing for Colchester United and a free agent from Crawley leading the line, and it was a substitute from Accrington Stanley who got the goal it really shows the gulf between the 2 teams last night, and ITFC gave them an absolute test in the second half. Some dangerous corners, some long efforts, hit the post right at the end, gave it a right go until the very end.

There is only 2 teams where I fear there would be a massive massive gulf in quality this season, and I'm think over Boro and West Brom, everyone else I'll happily back the blues to give anyone a game at Portman Road, and last night it was more like Fortman Road. Unbelievable atmosphere.

Our season will be defined by games against the likes of Birstol City, not West Brom.
Starting line up for Bristol City:
Bart
Spence / Chambers / Pennington / Knudsen
Downes / Skuse / Dozzell
Edwards / Roberts / Sears

There might be a gulf in class but we couldn't beat Preston or Reading, and WBA were beaten by Wigan, Bolton and Hull, so we can't just write off these defeats as ok.

Poll: Who do you blame for our failure to progress?

Indeed, the fact still remains, we need a win, very badly. We keep missing those opportunities.

Brizzle and Wigan at home are huge games.

I have to say when I saw them bringing on Gayle, and then Barry, it really highlighted how weak our squad is and how far behind we are

Pronouns: He/Him/His. "Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."
Poll: Selectamod

The atmosphere was good in bits, and the effort, as ever, was there. But we were comfortably beaten and posed little threat. I came out of the ground thinking we're doomed.

Don't feel quite as bad today, but we are in the soup.

Played incredibly well in both Preston and Reading, should have been out of sight against Reading, and if we had a bit more quality then we would have. But right now we do have a big gulf in class. WBA were a very very good team last night, also went to Norwich and put 4 past them at Carrot Road, put 4 past Leeds last week, 7 past QPR, shows the levels they have on their day.

You see, playing well is great but moot unless we win. All the good work Lambert does is for nothing unless we start winning games.

The likes of Reading and Preston are must wins and we didn't.

Same for Brizzle Wed and also when Wigan come.

Right now, we simply need a win to build confidence.

We don't have the quality unfortunately, have to hang in their until January and hopefully add but until then cant see us winning too many.

We're doomed! Doomed I tells ya.

But we'll get relegated with smiles on our faces.
