Quite proud of our fanbase tonight.. 19:53 - Dec 8 with 2224 viewsnorfsufblue

Flicked through a few threads and by and large everyone is behind PL and the team and commenting sensibly and pragmaticly . If i was a rival fan dipping into this forum i think i would be quite impressed with the fortitude being shown on here. Lets all stay behind them to the last kick of the season when hopefully we will get our reward but if not next season this club may just develop into a Phoenix from the flames.

I was proud of the fans at the ground. Outsinging the Potters even after conceding, keeping up the songs right to and beyond the end of the match.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

One of the Facebook groups I look at occasionally is dedicated to away support. It’s pretty juvenile usually and mostly consists of big 4 fans (and Leeds) slating any team that doesn’t sell out and/or teams that have lost saying how the opposition were the quietest fans they’d ever seen.

However, here’s a selection of the comments beneath a picture of our 1,011 travelling fans today.

“Sang a lot more than us today, fair play ipswich” - Stoke fan

“Fair play to them tbh. Bottom of the league and knew they wouldn't get a result but standing by their team 👏👏”

“Balls deep in the sh1t and still turn out numbers like that fair-play”

“Fair play to those Ipswich fans ! Long distance just before Xmas bottom of league !! But still follow their team ! Well done to all of them 👏👏”

“The only ones who made any noise today” - Stoke fan

“Great following and not one moaner today. Supported their team throughout and at the end. Fair play” - Stoke fan

Brilliant effort everyone, let’s go down singing.

Let's go down singing ? Feel like we're on board the Titanic or something..

Evans is the Iceberg, Lambert could be the Carpathia, and as for Hurst, probably the one who left the binoculars behind at Southampton..

Excellent stuff.

I would have been in the boiler room of the Titanic I reckon.

We may well go down, but we go down defiant to the end with our heads held high.

Great stuff, if we go down we go down we can regroup hopefully and start to win some games in a lower league and who knows, it has happened to many big clubs we are not immune from relegation.

Evans was like the designers, who built a grand vessel compromised by flaws and limitations. Hurst was the iceberg, which punctured the illusion of holding things together. Lambert, yes, the Carpathia.

Once again our Away support has been fantastic and believe that come the end of the season the player of the year award should go to these hard core fans......you deserve an away win.

Point of order! They've had one...
Something the home fans have yet to experience this year..

Make you right on the sentiment though😉

Great post, right mindset of positivity. You have to have a manager and squad the fans can support and agreed by and large the fanbase is right behind Town.

Poll: Would you be happy with Paul Lambert?
