Cambridge United do it I think. They only breathalyse if someone appears drunk and if they are twice the drink drive limit, they aren't allowed in. However, I don't think it's used very much and is more of an excuse to not let in idiots. |  |

I got lifted at Colchester about 10 years ago for entering a sporting arena whilst under the influence, the sickener was I was the least hammered of our group. I'd gone in on my lonesome as I'd paid for the taxi whilst the other 5 had rolled into Layer Road.

A few years ago plod were accompanying our "Yoof" to Carrow Rd and one of them was very drunk and abusing one of the coppers the whole journey, when they got off the train the abuse continued all the way to the ground. The copper just took it all in but when matey got to the turnstile the copper nicked him for entering a ground while drunk - found a load of chang on him as well. | |
