...or another performance like the Sheffield Wednesday one?
I thought we showed a lot more desire and fight on Sunday, understandably due to the nature of the opposition.
But it did make me think why haven’t we seen enough of that this season?
Obviously the likes of Judge have improved us and there has been a confidence issue down the line.
But it seems quite clear if we’d managed a few more displays like Sunday when we pressed and had an intensity to our game, we probably wouldn’t be so far adrift.
Admittedly, we didn’t score but it was against the top side in the division.
Surely it would have been worth giving it a right go against lesser sides like Sheffield Wednesday, Blackburn etc.
We are a poor side but when you possess those fighting qualities, they shouldn’t just be reserved for a cup final with Norwich.
Derby are decent but not unbeatable. Let’s get in their faces tonight.
