It is with sadness that I report the passing yesterday, after a short illness, of life-long Town supporter Brian Mulvey, aged just 67. Brian lived and worked in Leeds for many years and regularly attended Town matches all over the north of England. He met up with other members of the Northern Branch of the Ipswich Town Supporters Club at stations, grounds and of course pubs for most games north of Birmingham throughout Town’s long tenure in the Championship and back in the ‘glory days’ as well, and I am sure many on TWTD will have been familiar with his opinions and witicisms which he was never shy to share. Oh bloody hell, I knew him quite well, went to many away games in the N with him. Lovely, lovely man. Gutted. R.I.P Brian, you will be much missed.
